From the melting pot of Black Country musicians, the band was formed in 2011. Four musicians brought together in sharing their passion for writing songs. Their music fuses elements of blues, folk and rock with thought provoking and heartfelt lyrics.

Originally a three piece they rehearsed and without a name, they built up a handful of songs, then in late 2012 Stolen Comfort was born. Drafting in guitarist Tim Hill and after several successful rehearsal sessions enough songs had been formed to take to the stage. In under a year they have accomplished the following on the local gigging scene, spots at regional festivals, recording an E.P. and getting songs played on local radio stations.
Stolen Comfort will be playing on the Edgar Davies Rock Stage during the afternoon of 23 August.
They are: Ivan Hickinbottom – Vocal/Guitar , Dave Messenger – Vocals/Bass, Tim Hill – Guitar/Backing Vocals, and Neil Wright – Drums/Precussion
